How to Ride Taxis
1Find a taxi
Please take a taxi from the airport or station.

2Get in the taxi
The rear door of the taxi will open automatically.

3Tell the driver your desired destination
If you have a map, show it to the driver.

4Pay your fare
Pay the fare indicated on the invoice given to you by the driver.*

5Get out of the taxi
The rear door of the taxi will open automatically.

- *You can only pay using Japanese yen.
- *In some cases, late-night fares may be charged at an increased rate.
- *Some taxis do not allow the use of credit cards. Please check with the driver before getting in the taxi.
Point & Show Foreign Language Sheets
Kagawa prefecture has introduced a Point & Show Foreign Language Sheet in around 1,370 taxis in the prefecture. These sheets make it possible for taxi users and drivers to communicate regarding destinations, approximate fares and travel times, decisions regarding the use of toll roads, meter fare and payment method on arrival, even if users are unable to speak Japanese.
