Honenji Temple

Honenji Temple is the Matsudaira family temple. The Matsudaira family ruled the Takamatsu Domain.
Countless lanterns stand within the temple's precincts, as if guarding the feudal lord.
Completed in 2011 by modern carpenters that specialize in temple construction, the five-storied pagoda is worth seeing.
